We work to employ tikanga post-sentence restorative justice practices of hohou i te rongo the ensure the impacts of offending are acknowledged and responded to and the affected parties are given the opportunity to heal and have their mana uplifted and restored.

In doing so, we strive to guide affected parties toward a positive pathway forward ,celebrating resilience and nurturing relationships that can support a future that all can live with.

    CHAIRPERSON

    Tere works for people first and foremost. He is steeped in tikanga and goodwill towards hohou te rongo. He guides the tikanga in our process which means we are in safe hands.

  • Helen Bowen

    TRUSTEE

    Helen brings years of experiences to the hohou te rongo mahi. She teaches, writes and guides facilitators and believes a tikanga driven process is the only way to make the process meaningful for tangata mamae and tangata hara and their whanau.

  • Rosie Abbott

    TRUSTEE

    Rosie's experiences as a facilitator at Hoani Waititi Marae and her long standing tikanga approach to law and restorative justice mean that the trust is in safe hands with her passion and approach to hohou te rongo.

    Esma is an experienced board member and brings immense tikanga knowledge and mana to the role of trustee.
